Lend Me a Tenor opened in Osoyoos this weekend and will be moving to the Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver for shows on May 30 and 31. Audience members were raving about the show as they left the theatre. Great effort by all involved!

Congratulations to Tom Szalay and the cast and crew of Lend Me A Tenor. I'm thrilled to hear that the production was such a resounding success. I wish I could have seen it--the photos are fantastic. Thanks so much for producing the play.
Here's to the next 40 years and many more of wonderful work by The South Okanagan Players!
Best regards,
Ken

Great to hear from the playwright! And of course, our troupe is no stranger to Ken Ludwig's plays, having produced Moon Over Buffalo in 2003, also a critical and financial success with great actors, directing, set, costumes, and special effects. Some of the same folks on MOB worked Lend Me a Tenor, and knew we could count on a Ludwig script. It's always a treat to return to a playwright we can rely on to deliver great dialogue and side-splitting humour. It's like extra "insurance" on having a good show.

This was a classically hilarious show! The costuming and make up were phenomenal and the set magnificent and it all really honoured the script. Kudos to the director, stage directors and producers (and the kissing director - ooh lala!) Fantastic performance by all actors who pulled out all the stops for each of their big laughs! Happy to have brought a small crowd to the play on the closing night. Thanks all!
